4-Hydroxyphenylbutazone is a metabolite of Phenylbutazone. Phenylbutazone, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory agent (NSAID), is an efficient reducing cofactor for the peroxidase activity of prostaglandin H synthase (PHS) [1].
