Dicarbine blocks dopamine receptors in various brain parts and prevents the depression of the conditioned defence reflexes caused by stimulation of the mesencephalic portion of the reticular formation. Dicarbine could be used in the schizophrenia and alcoholic psychosis studies[1][2].
