Acetylaszonalenin, a prenylated indole derivative, is a fungal metabolite.Acetylaszonalenin is a potent neurokinin-1 (NK1) receptor antagonist. Acetylaszonalenin shows inhibition of [3H]-SP binding to human astrocytoma cells with a Ki of 170 μM[1][2].
