D, L-erythro-PDMP is an erythro isomer of PDMP. D, L-erythro-PDMP causes growth inhibition of cultured rabbit skin fibroblasts. PDMP is an effective inhibitor of UDP-glucose:ceramide glucosyltransferase[1][2].
