Soporidine
Soporidine is an antagonist of germination of the parasitic plant Striga hermonthica. Soporidine specifically inhibits a S. hermonthica strigolactone receptor and inhibits the parasite's germination[1]. Soporidine is a click chemistry reagent, it contains an Alkyne group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc) with molecules containing Azide groups.
