Oxaquin (MCB-3837) is a injectable proagent that is rapidly converted to the active substance MCB3681 in vivo following intravenous (i.v.) administration, active against Gram-positive bacterial species. Oxaquin (MCB-3837) itself has no antimicrobial effects[1].
