The accuracy of these assays can, however, suffer when samples contain human anti-mouse antibodies (HAMA). Indeed, HAMA are often associated with inaccurate results because they can bind to both capture and detection antibodies and can generate non-specific signals. This so-called HAMA effect is major interference issue. Assessing the tolerance of an immunoassay to HAMA and mitigating it is very important important during research and development._x000D_ _x000D_ References_x000D_
_x000D_
Reinsberg J.
