SCGB3A2 is a secreted cytokine-like protein that interacts with pathogens (Listeria monocytogenes, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, yeast) and binds to the scavenger receptor MARCO. It strongly inhibits PLA2G1B activity and regulates lipid metabolism.
