Laninamivir TFA (R 125489 TFA) is an antiviral compound with inhibitory and prophylactic activity against influenza A and B viruses. Laninamivir TFA is a long-acting neuraminidase inhibitor administered by nasal inhalation. Laninamivir TFA has shown good safety and efficacy in the inhibition of influenza viruses[1].
