Tissue Inhibitor of Metalloproteinases 2 (TIMP2)

May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

Recognizes human TIMP-2. May be used to evaluate the invasive nature of some tumor types and determine the tissue disatribution of TIMPs in other tumors such as adenomas and also in normal tissue. Species Crossreactivity: mouse, rat, rabbit, bovine and guinea pig.
