Osteopontin (OPN, Bone Sialoprotein I, BSP-1, Secreted Phosphoprotein 1, SPP1, Early T-Lymphocyte Activation 1)

May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Recognizes the full length human osteopontin protein at 66kD, C-terminal fragments of both thrombin and MMP-cleaved OPN at 32kD. Does not recognizes the 40kD N-terminal fragment. Species Crossreactivity: swine and canine.
