Interleukin 1 beta (IL-1b)

Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20 degree C. Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20 degree C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degree C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Recognizes human IL-1 beta. In Direct ELISAs, ~30?75% crossreactivity with recombinant mouse IL?1b, recombinant porcine IL-1b, recombinant rat IL-1b, recombinant canine IL-1b, recombinant equine IL-1b, recombinant cotton rat IL-1b, recombinant feline IL?1b, recombinant Rhesus monkey IL-1b and recombinant guinea pig IL-1b.
