Gastrin (GAST, GAS)

May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

Recognizes human non-sulfated and sulfated forms of gastrin-17 as well as gastrin-34. Crossreacts with cholecystokinin octapeptide. It labels gastrin or gastrin-analogue producing cells in gastrin-secreting tumors and G cell hyperplasia. Species Crossreactivity: rat
