Chondroitin Sulfate Proteoglycan (NG2, CSPG)

May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

Recognizes rat Chondroitin Sulfate Proteoglycan between ~270-300kD. Reacts with both the intact Chondroitin Sulfate Proteoglycan and the core protein by Western Blot and ELISA. When oligodendrocyte pecurser cells (O-2A progenitor cells) are stained alive, the stain appears as clusters on the cell surface. Does not stain diferentatied oligodendrocytes well. Species Crossreactivity: human, mouse and monkey
