CD49d (Integrin alpha4, VLA4, LHR, Lymphocyte Homing Receptor)

May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

Recognizes human Integrin alpha 4. Specificity determined by immunoprecipitation from a detergent extract of 35S methionine-labeled lymphoid cells. No crossreactivity to alpha 1, alpha 2, alpha 3, alpha 5, alpha 6 or alpha V. Recognizes an epitope on the cytoplasmic domain of the protein. Epitope is intracellular.
