Integrin, beta1 (CD29, Very Late Antigen, VLAb1, Platelet gplla)

May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

Recognizes active human beta 1 integrin. Reacts with a ligand-induced binding site, with antibody binding increasing in the presence of a fibronectin ligand. Enhances alpha 5-beta 1 fibronectin interactions. Does not crossreact with mouse or rat.
