cAMP (Cyclic Adenosine Monophosphate, Cyclic AMP)

May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

Recognizes cAMP. Has been shown to react with rat. Expected to recognize cAMP from all species. Specific for cAMP with no cross reaction to other nucleotides at concentrations to 1mM. Reactive with cAMP fixed in tissues or acetylated cAMP. Does not react with free, non-acetylated cAMP in RIA or EIA assays.
