Storage Conditions
May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Specificity
Recognizes 8-oxoguanine. No reactivity with dGMP, dAMP, dCMP or TMP in micromolar concentrations. Competition was only observed when the concentrations were increased to the millimolar range. Species Crossreactivity: human, monkey, bovine, rat, mouse. Note: Target DNA modification is not species-specific and is expected to cross-react with all species.
