Store product at 4 degree C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4 degree C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: MaxLight490 conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.

Specific for the 68kD PAK1 (alphaPAK) protein and does not react with the closely related PAK2 (gammaPAK) or PAK3 (betaPAK) proteins. Reactivity of this antibody has been confirmed by Western blotting using lysates derived from NIH 3T3 cells, Jurkat cells, and COS-7 cells transfected with a PAK1 expression vector. Reacts with PAK1 from human, mouse and rat.
