Neurite Outgrowth Inhibitor A (NogoA) (MaxLight 550)

Store product at 4 degree C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4 degree C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: MaxLight550 conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.

Specific for rat Nogo-A. On Western blots for rat brain homogenates, it identifies a band at ~190kD. The faint bands at lower molecular weights may represent the deglycosylated form(s) or degradation product(s) of rat Nogo-A. Reactivity has been confirmed with rat brain homogenates. Based on amino acid sequence homolog, cross-reactivity with human is expected.
