Hepatitis C Virus E1 (HCV Envelope Glycoprotein E1, gp32, gp35) (AP)

May be stored at 4 degree C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4 degree C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Freezing alkaline phosphatase conjugates will result in a substantial loss of activity.

Recognizes HCV E1 envelope protein. Recognizes genotype 1a in ELISA, 1b and 2a in Western Blot. In Immunofluorescence, reacts with genotype 1b, but does not react with genotype 2a.
