Product Specifications
NCBI Gene ID
834
Reactivity
Human
Storage Conditions
Store product at 4 degree C. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4 degree C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
Specificity
Recognizes the p20 subunit of Caspase 1 and recognizes the P45 proenzyme (~45kD) and the p20 subunit (~20kD) of the reduced, human Caspase 1 isoform. May cross-react with Caspase 5 due to 92% sequence homology. Species sequence homology: mouse, rat, canine, porcine and feline (92% sequence homology).
