Thrombospondin (TSP) (BSA & Azide Free) (MaxLight 490)

Recognizes human Thrombospondin. Shows no crossreactivity with fibronectin, fibrinogen or von Willebrand factor. It blocks TSP-mediated agglutination of fixed RBCs. It shows no effect on TSP-mediated agglutination of fixed, activated platelets. It inhibits both thrombin -and -induced aggregation of washed, live (not fixed) platelets without affecting the secretion of serotonin. Inhibits adhesion of melanoma G361 cells to TSP. Blocks binding of C-terminal domain to Integrin-Associated Protein (IAP)/CD47. Species Crossreactivity: bovine, porcine, equine, canine, sheep, rat.
