Specificity
Reacts specifically with the STAT 5b protein and does not exhibit any crossreactivity with the highly related STAT 5a protein. Crossreactivity with other endogenous STAT isoforms has not been observed. Species Crossreactivity: Human, mouse and rat. Reactivity of this antibody with STAT5b has been confirmed by Western blotting using cell lysates derived from human A431 cells (+/-EGF treatment), NIH 3T3 cells, MCF-7 cells and HeLa cells.
