Specificity

Recognizes the monomorphic epitope present on mouse MHC Class 1. The epitope recognised is conformation dependent and is reported to be phylogenetically conserved. Reactivity has been observed with some canine samples suggesting that this may recognize a polymorphic epitope of canine MHC class I.
