Store product at 4 degree C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4 degree C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: MaxLight750 conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
Specificity
Recognizes human Involucrin. Epitope: codon 421-568 of human Involucrin at ~66-170kD. Species Crossreactivity: Gorilla, Owl monkey, porcine and canine. Does not react with mouse. In Western Blot of cultured human keratinocytes, reacts with a 120kD protein. It stains the involucrin in a variety of sizes: 170kD in MCF-7 cells, a doublet of ~115kD and 150kD in gorilla and owl monkey, 66kD in canine and a doublet of 105kD in porcine.
