May be stored at 4 degree C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4 degree C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Allophycocyanin (APC) is light sensitive.
Specificity
Reacts equally with free cardiac troponin I (cTnl) and cTnl forming complexes with other troponin components. Not affected by heparin, phosphorylation and oxidation. Recognizes an epitope located between aa169-184 of cTnI. Less than 10% crossreactivity with skeletal muscle troponin I.
