17a-Hydroxyprogesterone (17-Hydroxy-pregn-4-ene-3,20-dione, 4-Pregnen-17a-ol-3,20-dione) (APC)

May be stored at 4 degree C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4 degree C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Allophycocyanin (APC) is light sensitive.

Recognizes 17a-Hydroxyprogesterone-BSA conjugate and free 17a-Hydroxyprogesterone. Crossreacts 100% with 17-Hydroxyprogesterone, 7% with Progesterone and 3% with Deoxycorticosterone. Does not crossreact with BSA.
