Troponin I-Cardiac (aa65-74) (AP)

May be stored at 4 degree C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4 degree C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Freezing alkaline phosphatase conjugates will result in a substantial loss of activity.

Reacts with free cardiac troponin I (cTnI). Does not react with cTnI forming complexes with other troponin components. Not affected by phosphorylation. Recognizes an epitope between amino acid residues 65 and 74 of cTnI. No crossreactivity with skeletal muscle cTnI. Reactive with cTnI from human, bovine, porcine, goat, canine, cat, rat and mouse.
