Storage Conditions

May be stored at 4 degree C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4 degree C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Allophycocyanin (APC) is light sensitive.

Specificity

Recognizes the "O" antigen of E. coli serotype O157. Crossreacts with Salmonella O30 (hilversum) and Salmonella O30 (urbana). Non-reactive with E. coli serotypes O111, O125, O20 and O55.
