Product Specifications
Gene Name
[TYR]
NCBI Gene ID
7299
Reactivity
Human
Storage Conditions
May be stored at 4 degree C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4 degree C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Freezing alkaline phosphatase conjugates will result in a substantial loss of activity.
Specificity
Recognizes human tyrosinase, 70-80kD. Does not cross-react with MAGE-1 and tyrosinase-related protein-1, TRP-1/gp75. Staining of melanomas showed tyrosinase in melanotic as well as amelanotic variants.
