Otenabant Hydrochloride

Otenabant is a novel cannabinoid type 1 (CB1) receptor antagonist. It is effective at subnanomolar concentrations at human CB1 receptors in binding and functional assays, with Ki values of 0.7 nM and 0.12 nM respectively. It reverses cannabinoid agonist-induced responses, reduces food intake, and increases energy expenditure and oxidation of fat in rodent models.
