Function

Transcriptional regulator that acts as repressor or activator, depending on the context. Binds to NF-E2 DNA binding sites. Plays important roles in coordinating transcription activation and repression by MAFK (By similarity). Specificity

This antibody recognizes human BACH1 protein, a member of the DEAH helicase family. BACH1 interacts with BRCA1, and mutations in BACH1 interfere with normal double-strand DNA break repair.
