Human TGF-beta RI Protein, Fc Tag (MALS verified)

TGF type I receptor also called the activin receptor-like kinase 5 (ALK5) and involved in TGF signaling. TGFβ signaling is mediated by the interaction of TGFβ ligands (TGFβ 1,2 or 3) with cell surface receptors, the TGF type I, type II and type III receptors. Signaling is initiated by binding of TGF to the TGF type II receptor forming a ligand-receptor complex which interacts with the TGF type I receptor.

This protein carries a human IgG1 Fc tag at the C-terminus. The protein has a calculated MW of 36.7 kDa. The protein migrates as 43-48 kDa when calibrated against Star Ribbon Pre-stained Protein Marker under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.
