Background

A selective blocker of Nav1.8 channels. A-803467 potently reduced thermal hyperalgesia in inflammatory models of pain and mechanical allodynia in neuropathic models of pain, but was relatively ineffective in a skin-incision model of postoperative pain, a chemotherapy induced pain, and in visceral pain (1).
