Avenanthramide C is an orally active avenanthramide that can be isolated from oat seeds. Avenanthramide C decreases the protein expression of cleaved caspase-3 and increases the expression of p-GSK3β (Ser9) and IL-10 levels. Avenanthramide C has the potential for the research of Alzheimer’s disease[1].
