Atractyloside Potassium salt

Atractyloside is an extremely toxic glycoside isolated from thistles. It blocks mitochondrial ATP synthesis by inhibiting ADP/ATP translocases, which are responsible for the exchange of adenine di- and triphosphates across the inner mitochondrial membrane.
