Bilaid C, a tetrapeptide, can be isolated from the Australian estuarine isolate of Penicillium sp. MST-MF667. Bilaid C is also a potent and selective μ-Opioid Receptor (MOPr) agonist (Ki=210 nM, hMOPr)[1].
