ω-3 Arachidonic acid is a poly fatty acid that is essential for growth and development in infants. ω-3 Arachidonic acid inhibits arachidenol-CoA synthetase with Ki values of 14 µM. It also inhibited arachidenol-CoA synthetase of calf brain extract with IC50 values of about 5 µM[1][2].
