ORAOV1 Protein, Human Recombinant
Oral cancer-overexpressed protein 1 (ORAOV1) is found in many solid tumors, making a key contribution to the development of cancer. It is found as a key candidate oncogene in the 11q13 chromosomal region, based on its amplification and overexpression in oral cancer cell lines. Functional analyses revealed that ORAOV1 was involved in the regulation of HeLa cell growth through its effect on cell cycle and apoptosis. Recombinant human ORAOV1 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
