Oxyphenbutazone is a Phenylbutazone metabolite, with anti-inflammatory effect. Oxyphenbutazone is an orally active non-selective COX inhibitor. Oxyphenbutazone selectively kills non-replicating Mycobaterium tuberculosis[1][2].
