CheKine™ Pro Catalase (CAT) Fluorometric Activity Assay Kit

CheKine™ Pro Catalase (CAT) Fluorometric Activity Assay Kit can detect animal and plant tissues, cells, serum, plasma and other samples. The principle involves the catalase (CAT) in the detection system breaking down H2O2 into water and oxygen. The residual hydrogen peroxide, in the presence of an enzyme and a fluorescent substance, undergoes a reaction where its fluorescence intensity at an excitation wavelength of 535 nm and an emission wavelength of 587 nm is directly proportional to the concentration of hydrogen peroxide.

Storage at -20°C and Keep from light immediately upon receipt. Kit has a storage time of 6 months from receipt. Refer to list of materials supplied for storage conditions of individual components.

• If not assayed immediately, samples can be stored at -80°C for one month.• It is recommended to perform several dilutions of your sample to ensure the readings are within the standard value range.• Fresh samples are necessary for good results. If don't perform the assay at the same time, it's better to complete the Sample Preparation step before storing the samples.
