Homopropargylglycine
Homopropargylglycine is a Methionine (HY-13694) analogue. Homopropargylglycine is incorporated at a suitable rate into newly synthesized proteins in a variety of systems, including mammalian cell culture. Homopropargylglycine can be used to identify old and new protein populations[1]. Homopropargylglycine is a click chemistry reagent, it contains an Alkyne group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc) with molecules containing Azide groups.
