Ethylhexylglycerin has antimicrobial activity, inhibiting the growth of Acinetobacter spp., Pseudomonas aeruginosa complex, and Stenotrophomonas maltophilia. Ethylhexylglycerin can cause pigmentary contact dermatitis[1][2].
