Benzenesulfonate (sodium)

Benzenesulfonate sodium is the sodium salt of Benzenesulfonic acid. Benzenesulfonate sodium facilitates the identification of -SO3H and -SO3- vibrational bands in compounds in Raman spectroscopy. Benzenesulfonate sodium was used in the synthesis of 1-Butyl-3-propanenitrile imidazolium benzenesulfonate [C2CN Bim]BS[1][2].
