PRMT6, Human (HEK293, His-Flag)

PRMT6 is a multifunctional arginine methyltransferase that prefers the formation of asymmetric dimethylarginine (aDMA) and methylates arginine residues within glycine- and arginine-rich domains change. It coordinates asymmetric dimethylation of histone H3 "Arg-2" to generate H3R2me2a, a unique epigenetic tag associated with transcriptional repression.
