It is produced by molds, such as Aspergillus flavus and Aspergillus parasiticus. Aflatoxins are hepatogenic, teratogenic, imunosuppressive, and carcinogenic fungal metabolites found in feeds, nuts, wine-grapes, spices, and other grain crops[2][3].
