Capravirine
Capravirine (S-1153) is an orally active non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NNRTI) with potent antiviral activity. Capravirine inhibits replication of HIV-1 strains that are resistant to nucleoside/nucleotide reverse transcriptase inhibitors and other NNRTIs. Capravirine is metabolized by the cytochrome P450 enzyme CYP3A4[1][2].
