It promotes LDLR degradation, inhibits recycling, induces ubiquitination, and affects APOB degradation. Additionally, PCSK9 influences BACE1 intermediates, ENaC surface expression, and neuronal apoptosis by modulating LRP8/APOER2 levels and anti-apoptotic signaling pathways.
