6-Hydroxykynurenic acid (6-HKA) is a derivative of kynurenic acid (KYNA) and can be isolated from Ginkgo leaves. 6-Hydroxykynurenic acid is a low-affinity NMDAR antagonist (IC50: 59 μM) [1].
